Eligibility criteria for Regular Membership in the Association of Legal Administrators and the
Columbus Chapter, ALA includes individuals working in the following types of organizations:

Private Law Offices

Corporate Legal Departments

Governmental Legal Agencies

Legal Service Clinics

University Legal Departments

Court Systems

Charitable Legal Agencies

Practicing Lawyer with Principal Management Responsibility

Consultants to the Legal Industry

Individuals who are interested in legal management but do not qualify for Regular Membership may apply for
Associate Membership. Other membership classifications and eligibility criteria can be found on the ALA website at http://alanet.org

Columbus Chapter Awarded Presidents' Award of Excellence

The Columbus Chapter has been awarded the 2019 Association of Legal Administrators' Presidents' Award of Excellence. This award, named in honor of ALA's Past Presidents, recognizes chapters for their efforts in effective chapter management.
